Special thanks to my littlest sister, Birch, for sending these amazing notecards my way! She has been working on a new project at her job involving adding personalization to the line of bags they manufacture and came across these during the research process. I'll be sure to put them to good use! I do love anything personalized.

Bookmarc
I've just been doodling away in my new Bookmarc notebook, courtesy of Tiane. It contains lots of lists, espsecially for places I'd like to visit while I'm in Chicago next month. Let me know of your Chicago must-sees!

Maptotes

With more and more people going green by carrying reusable totes for groceries and other shopping excursions, it's hard to stand out in the crowd. That's why I love these canvas totes from Maptotes. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and you can choose from over 40 locales, from Nantucket to Tokyo and lots of places in between. I'm partial to Washington DC and all of the New England totes, especially Martha's Vineyard! Not in the market for canvas totes? No problem! They also have notepads, onesies, and wine carriers. Cute + good for the environment = two green thumbs up!

An Apple a Day...

Well, you know how the saying goes. I'm not sure this apple notepad would keep anyone away, but it sure would be a cute addition to my desk! I love all things stationery-related and these fruity memo pads are no exception. They're just so fun! I love incorporating my personality into work-related tasks (where appropriate, of course). Now the only hard part is deciding between the apple and the pear.
Decisions, decisions!

Whooooo Has My Paperwork?

I feel like these little owl magnets are just what I need to spruce up my desk! I'm always looking for fun accents to add to my cubicle to give it a little more personality (even though I rarely spend any time there). I love the bright pop of color they would bring. If you haven't checked out Mod Cloth, I highly recommend you do so. They have so many fun knick knacks and accessories and they update their inventory daily. Love it!

Foodie Notebooks

I adore these little notebooks from Bold Ideas. They're great to keep in your car or purse for those times when a great idea strikes you while on the go. Or, if you're anything like me, you can use them to jot down to-do lists and little reminders. I love fun notebooks like these!

Animate Me!

I would love to have a set of personalized stationery with my miniature cartoon portrait printed on top! How cute are these note cards?! You can get your own customized set at Rifle Paper Co. You can even get custom wedding announcements or calling cards. It makes me wonder what I'd look like as a cartoon. Hmmm...I hope I win the set from the giveaway at A Cup of Jo. That sure would be a nice way to start the weekend!

What would cartoon you look like?

Snap Shot

I've been on a big stationery kick lately and these great screen printed note cards combine two of my favorite things: paper goods and old cameras! This set of five cards each has a different vintage camera on it. I encourage you to check out the Two Guitars Etsy shop for more simple, yet creative screen printed card stock and notebooks. Although the cameras are what initially caught my eye, this anchor card is pretty sweet too. Don't you think it's about time to send someone a hand written note?

Food Snob

Aren't these place cards great? I love dinner parties and I get excited by creative table settings. When we were kids, my sisters and I were always responsible for folding index cards and making name cards at Thanksgiving and other holidays. Sometimes we drew little pictures on them or jazzed them up with stickers and stamps. The set of 8 Food Snob cards from Greenwich Letterpress is a grown-up version of what we used to make. Each card features a fun fact or bit of trivia to get people talking at dinnertime. Each design is printed in a different color of soy-based ink. My favorites have to be the cheese snob and appliance snob. I think a little detail like this would make a fun addition to your next night of entertaining at home!
Do you have a favorite place card?

Lucky Me!

I never win anything, so you can imagine my excitement/astonishment when this showed up on one of my favorite blogs. Yes, I won! I won an adorable set of owl notecards made by cardsink. I'm so lucky! I feel like I should run out and buy a powerball ticket for the 140 million dollar drawing tomorrow. Okay, that might be pushing my luck. In the meantime, I'll be anxiously awaiting my notecards in the mail!
Happy Friday!

Rubber Duckie, You're the One...

I have a mild obsession with stationery. I was the kid who loved going shopping for school supplies in mid-August. I would happily walk up and down every aisle, checking items off the list. Over the years, this infatuation has evolved into a love of all things writing oriented-bright markers, cute note cards, funky stickers-anything related to sending things snail mail or organizing my desk. One of my favorite new finds are these adorable paperclips from the MOMA store. Aren't they great?! I ordered the little ducks but they also have mini elephants. I think it's a great way to add some personality (and individuality) to the cookie cutter world of cubicles.
MOMA has lots of great finds. Do you have any favorite writing materials?
