Currently in love with my newest J. Crew bracelet seen here in rose dust. I love how sparkly it is when paired with my prized '3' bracelet and ombre link one. There's no such thing as too many bracelets, right?

New Additions
I love these rhinestone bracelets from J. Crew. I found the bright yellow one back in May, but the color selection was limited. Fast forward to last weekend, when I was browsing the new fall collection (especially the adorable pencil skirts) and stumbled upon lots of new bracelet colors. I think the orange one is my new favorite!

Perfect Party
The Manrepeller's arm party trend has really hit hard this summer, and I'm totally a fan of the look. I have to say that this picture from Refinery 29's feature really has it all--the perfect mix of metals, texture, and femininity (and the coveted dinosaur bones cuff by Noir). I'm definitely in favor of the trend and I can't wait to keep tracking down fun bangles to adorn my own wrists.

Bangle, Bangle, Bangle
I made it out of clay!
As soon as I saw this post, I knew I was going to have to make some bangles of my own. I love stacks of bracelets (more=better), and these neon babies are a great addition to my collection. The process was so easy and much cheaper than shelling out dough for similar bracelets at J. Crew.
Scope out the full tutorial here.

Budget Baubles
I typically don't wear a lot of jewelry, but when I spotted these earrings at Forever 21 I couldn't resist. I think they'd be a fun way to dress up some basic tops and tees. I really like the nautical feel of the rope detail on the hoops and the little rhinestones on the floral orbs. For less than four dollars a pair they were definitely a steal and will be making their debut on my Chicago trip in just two short days!

The Claw

Pretty much in love with this unique bracelet. Seen on because i'm addicted from London fashion week. I like the photo itself too with the tattoo & avian-print blouse (or blazer pehaps?).

What's All the Hoopla?

I'm definitely a hoops kinda girl when it comes to earrings. I have all different styles and sizes, but my favorites are usually simple, medium-sized, and plain gold or silver. I've been looking for a versatile pair for fall that has a little something extra to them and I think I may have found just that! I came across these glam teardrop-shaped hoops at Antropologie and I'm in love. The colors are perfect to incorporate with so many pieces in my wardrobe and they're even sparkly! I'm going to keep looking for a fun headband, too!

Blame Michelle Tanner

Those Olsen girls seriously know how to pull on my heartstrings, specifically in the form of their clothing line, Elizabeth and James. The line somehow manages to combine menswear-inspired basics with a feminine twist absolutely perfectly. They offer everything from structured blazers to unique jewelry and some over the top statement items too. Have a look at just some of the things I'm crushing on right now.
shrunken surplus jacket
sequined sweatshirt
draped peep-toe bootie
tokyo chiffon blouse - first seen at Curly in the City
feather ring
cheyenne blouse
Do you love Elizabeth & James too? What's your fav piece right now?

Bountiful Bangles
Alex and Ani
Marc by Marc Jacobs
Madewell
Fenton/Fallon for J. Crew
Cara
I can't get enough of layering lots of chunky bracelets lately. I kind of feel like Miss Havisham when I go out with an arm full of jewels! It's a fun way to accessorize and you can minimize other jewelry so the bangles really stand out. These are just some of my favorite pieces right now.
Which ones would you incorporate into your look?

Three's Company

I had a great time shopping and touring Montréal with my sisters and mom last week. I really felt like I was on a mini European getaway thanks to the little outdoor cafes and fabulous architecture. We did lots of walking, especially around the older parts of the city near the port and indulged in lots of great meals. My sister, Austin, surprised everyone with a little trinket to remember the trip by. Don't these bracelets look familiar? It's because I blogged about them here and had planned on getting them (eventually). Well, she beat me to it and pulled out four little boxes at the restaurant the first night we ate dinner. I was pleasantly surprised and I absolutely loooove my new bracelet. The four of us wore them for the rest of the trip and now every time I put it on I'll think of our bonding trip to Canada. Enjoy a few pictures from our adventure (taken by Austin)!
We were totally spoiled at the W Hotel. Gorgeous and so luxurious!
Pretty window displays along Rue Ste. Catherine.
Marché Jean-Talon in Little Italy neighborhood. It went on for so many blocks and showcased fresh, local produce.
Inside of la Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal. This was so ornate and absolutely breathtaking.
The girls with our Archive charm bracelets.
Thanks to my mom for taking us all on such a great trip and to Austin for our surprise bracelets!

Shark Attack

I know I'm a little late on this one, seeing as Shark Week just ended, but I'm still posting it anyway. I think this pave ring makes a serious statement and is really fun, too! My sisters and I used to rent one of the Jaws movies almost every time our parents took us to Blockbuster back in the day. Yes, we even watched the cheesy Sea World one where the tourists got trapped in the underwater walkway at least 63 times. The original is still my favorite and I love that it was filmed in nearby Martha's Vineyard. I only wish that summer could be extended by about a month so I could fit in more long weekend trips. Next summer, Martha's Vineyard will be at the top of my list.
Have you enjoyed your summer thus far?

Charmed

I kind of have to have this bracelet. When I first saw it in a magazine, I figured it was made by Chanel (hence the number 5), but I did some research and found that it's actually made by Archive, a vintage-inspired line of affordable bijoux. The best part? You can customize the number to include your lucky number. I'm thinking of ordering three of them with the number 3 (one for each of my sisters and myself). So, girls, if you're reading this, you have to be surprised if I do end up gifting it to you. It would be sort of like a modern charm/friendship bracelet and a great way to stay connected even when we're apart (awww). I've gotten even more sentimental as I've gotten older. Scary.
I think it would look great layered with some other chunky bracelets, don't you?!

Video Game Vixen

This necklace instantly transported me back to the late 80s when my favorite local Mexican take-out place had a sit-down Pac Man game. It was amazing (duh) and I played so many fun games with my best friend Ryan while we waited for our taco orders. He always beat me, but I had fun cheering him on, especially when he got to the advanced levels. This necklace is simply a fun tribute to one of many (embarrassing) 80s trends. Sometimes I wish I owned a Pac Man arcade-style game nowadays. It's just one of those things that everyone seems to love and gravitate towards. Maybe someday!
What was your favorite old-school video game as a kid?

Lustworthy
I've had my eye on these staple pieces recently. They're somewhat pricey, but I think that I would get a lot of use out of them.
J. Crew leather moccasins in a fun color
J. Crew Fenton/Fallon chain necklace
Cute new Lululemon workout clothes
Marc by Marc Jacobs cinched hobo (love the stud embellishments and buttery soft texture)
Vince cowl neck leather jacket (tried this on and didn't want to take it off!)
What's on your current wish list?

Champagne Studs

I love the color of these diamond studs! They're a luxurious change from your everyday white pair. Plus, they have a dressier vibe (in my opinion). For under $30, they're a great fake out!

Puttin' on the Ritz

This Ritz cracker necklace immediately made me think of my littlest sister, Birch. I don't remember if she loved Ritz crackers that much, but she sure did eat a lot of cheese as a kiddo. Plus, we always used to load up on goldfish, wheat thins, and Ritz crackers whenever we went to our Grandma's house. The best part was eating the snacks out of plastic yellow tubs that were used for butter. Jewelry that incorporates snack food gets two thumbs up in my book! Check out these cute gummy bear earrings. They look good enough to eat!
