I, like so many other women, ventured out to my local Target bright and early this morning to claim some of the highly anticipated Missoni pieces. I have to say, I was surprised that there weren't more people lined up. It seems like everyone just counted on being able to buy online, which resulted in the website crashing for most of the day (and even now as I type this). My sister went out to our Target in Northern Viginia, and the shelves were bare only a few minuted after the doors opened. I think a lot of people just grabbed handfuls of things to resell on eBay.
I wasn't overly impressed with many of the items in person, but did snag a cute fall sweater in their signature print and some bobby pins and notecards. I would have liked to have gotten one of the throws, but I didn't see any. They didn't have any bikes (that I know of) at my location, either. Part of the fun is getting out early and having the thrilling experience, though, right?! Did you shop the Missoni collection? What were you able to get your hands on?

A Wild Discovery
I kind of love that I finally stumbled upon these special edition Barnum's animal crackers today while on a run for groceries. The box is so colorful that it really stood out on the shelf and I couldn't resist buying a couple packages. I can't believe it took me a whole year to find them!

Forever 21 Collaborations

I absolutely love the fact that fashion bloggers are popping up everywhere and that people are taking them more seriously (remember the Coach collabo & Planet Blue, too!). The most recent nation-wide blogger campaign features 5 lovely ladies and their picks for Forever 21. My favorite look is (obviously) Emily's from Cupcakes and Cashmere, but some of her favorite pieces appear in other blogger styles too. I love the flowy chiffon tops and layered looks that can be created from Emily's California chic wardrobe.

Which blogger has your favorite look?

Villainous Vamp

I just read on Temptalia that MAC is collaborating with Disney this fall to release a line of cosmetics based on villains from Disney movies (appropriately titled the Venomous Villains collection)! I love this idea and I'm sure it won't disappoint. Hopefully the line will include some fun packaging and at least one new nail polish! Check out the sneak peek video here.
Who are your favorite Disney villains? I'm partial to Ursula from The Little Mermaid. She terrified me as a child!
