Whooooo Has My Paperwork?

I feel like these little owl magnets are just what I need to spruce up my desk! I'm always looking for fun accents to add to my cubicle to give it a little more personality (even though I rarely spend any time there). I love the bright pop of color they would bring. If you haven't checked out Mod Cloth, I highly recommend you do so. They have so many fun knick knacks and accessories and they update their inventory daily. Love it!

Cupcake Attire

I love these cupcake t-shirts from Dressing on the Side. They're so cute and a perfect way to express your love for the tasty treats. Check out their shop on Etsy. Even their non-cupcake related shirts are super creative. Their photo shoots look like a blast, especially the one at the carnival!

Fiesta, Fiesta

I hope everyone enjoys a frosty margarita today in honor of Cinco de Mayo! I make mine with fresh squeezed limes and just a splash of triple sec. I love when they're shaken up 'til they're nice and frothy and served over ice. Delicioso!

Liberty for All

Everyone is jumping on the Liberty bandwagon! The latest company to debut the floral-print pieces is J. Crew and they really did a lovely job. The cardigan and blazer are my two favorite pieces in the collection. I wish they had more of the peacock feather pattern. It's so pretty!

Plus de Chanel

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my newest Chanel nail polish! It's called illusion d'or and it's a sparkly gold topcoat with little flecks of purple. It's part of the limited edition Paris-Shanghai collection. I wasn't a huge fan of the matte black polish or the solid gold, but the sparkles caught my attention (as usual)! Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on one directly from the Chanel website. I think it'll make a nice topcoat to any summery hues (maybe even nouvelle vague). It reminds me a little bit of the bottle of Lippmann glitter polish that Tiane tested when we were out shopping. I can't wait to test it out!

It's Electric

Recently, I've found myself drawn to brighter pops of color (in small doses) to complement the typically earthy tones of my wardrobe. This electric yellow shade is my top pick for spring. I already have a simple v-neck shirt that I pair with basic khakis (for work) and jeans. These are some of my favorite ways to showcase a bit of color without revisiting the 80's and looking like a neon highlighter.

Pillow Talk

I stumbled upon this adorable pillow by Honey Pie Design on Etsy. I love the cozy, homemade style and different sayings you can choose from. My couch needs one asap! The striped anchor and "hot mom" ones are adorable, too.

Furniture Hunting

I've been looking for a coffee table for ages and can't seem to find one that I like that's reasonably price. I've decided to move on to the next item on my furniture wish-list: a desk. My favorite styles are sleek, simple, and spacious. I don't need a lot of drawers for junk, but I like a large surface so I can spread out magazines, my laptop, and flowers. I find that the cleaner my workspace, the more I can get accomplished. These Parsons desks from West Elm are my absolute favorite. I love the yellow one, even though it doesn't really fit my color scheme. It's so cheerful! The price is right, compared to some other furniture sites I've been browsing.

Obey

Love this summery scarf by Obey. It would look great over a basic tee or tank top and jeans. The best part is Shepard Fairey's iconic Andre the Giant stamp in the middle. If the style looks somewhat familiar, it's because he's the artist responsible for the Obama hope poster. I love spotting his stickers all over Providence. I wish I could make it to the new gallery exhibit in New York!
